Our Story
Zhihuo's roots are in container loading optimization. We have developed container loading software since 1998, and the company was established in Beijing in 2003. Over that time the work has grown from single-carton loading into mixed-carton and palletized loading, and more recently into rotational molding layout and production scheduling.
Today the company has offices in Beijing, China and Winnipeg, Canada.
How We Work
Our main business is not shrink-wrapped software. It is:
Customized development
We adapt the optimization engines to a client's real cargo, containers, pallets, machines, molds, and operating rules, rather than forcing the client onto a fixed feature set.
Company-wide licensing
Once a solution fits a client's process, we license it for use across the organization instead of charging per seat for a generic tool.
Free Trials Are a Baseline, Not the Ceiling
The free trial and download versions on this site — the SmartPacker editions (T1, T3, U3) and the RotoSpider trial — are deliberately simplified. They show the core capability and give you a concrete starting point, but they are a baseline for customization, not the full product.
A customized deployment is built around each client's own cargo loading or rotational molding scheduling rules. Because of that, a production version can be significantly more sophisticated than the baseline trials: more constraints, client-specific rules, real master data, additional reports, and integration with the systems you already run.
